As far as I know, every character matched, but I will try again.

How would I find out if the other sound card is disabled or not?  I have to 
admit that I don't know much about all this.  All I know for sure is that I 
had it set up that way until the new hardware update was installed.  Then it 
rerouted everything to the surround sound speakers.  I tried everything 
including trying a system restore but nothing worked.  I have never 
installed any hardware update since.
