    Steve:

I don't have a dummy load yet, but actually am making a deal on a used one
that I know someone has right now.

If I don't have the dummy load, it won't hurt anything will it if I transmit
on one of my antennas on very low power, and just listen to myself on the
other rig without an antenna?

Maybe I can just pick an obscure 10-meter frequency somewhere so noone else
will be bothered.
