Hi all, I'm a month or two off purchasing an Icom IC-718.
I'll direct this question at tom as he seems to know enough about the
718 at this juncture.
what I'd like to know is,
if you're in the initial set menu, and you want to set something up say,
the mode select function to lock out modes you're not legally allowed to
operate, do you get any indication at all, whether it be via beep, or
output from the ut-102 as to the mode you're on before you lock it out
with the tuning dial?
I plan on locking out the RTTY modes and using USB, LSB, AM, and both cw
modes.
I don't want to have to cycle through them all if I don't have to.
thanks in advance.
