For what it is worth.  I don't recall reading in the QSYer file I was sent when buying the keypad if this was mentioned.  I know it does mention pressing the D key and then the A key to get a CW read out of the mode you are in but I didn't know, until I discovered it by accident, that pressing the D key once, then either the one, two, or three key, that you get a CW read out of the frequency you are on in megahertz for number one, kilohertz for number two, or hertz when using key number three.
