You can buy sets of short Velcro strips that are about 6 inches long at 
Wallgreens, CVS, Wally World, etc. I've even seen them at Dollar Tree.

They come on a card of 3 or 4 strips, with the hooks on one side, and the 
loops on the other side of each strip, and the buckle type slot in one end 
as has been described already.

Unless you're trying to fasten up a large bundle of coax, these work well 
for most situations. You can link two or more together if necessary.
