Well, first, you need to do the authorization of the VR Stream.  Humanware 
will send you a file back that you must install on the stream.  This is keyed 
to your unit's serial number.

Once you have that, go back to the NLS site.  Enter your User ID and Password.

Find a book or magazine you want to download.  The instructions are obvious, 
if you've ever downloaded a file from anywhere before.  Enter on the download 
link, when your browser asks if you want to save or run it, save it.  You are 
then given its filename and you need to tab to the "Save In" spot and make 
sure that it is in a directory that you want to save it to; if not, it is a 
combo box so open it with alt-downarrow and then choose where you want to save 
the file.

After you save it, you need to transfer it to the memory card on your Stream. 
You do this in one of two ways; either through a card reader, or by hooking up 
your VR Stream to the computer via USB cable which is slower.

You make a new subfolder  under the $VRDTB folder.  Name it something to do 
with  the book you plan to save.  Now, go back to where the book was saved. 
Click on the zipped file and if you have XP or Vista, it will automatically 
unzip them.  Depending on the length of the book, you'll probably have several 
files; at least ten and possibly more than thirty.  Select them all with 
control-A and copy them to your clipboard.  Then, paste them into your memory 
card.
