Hi,
I actually prefer switching supplies to the old iron core power hogs. They
run cooler, are more efficient and make much less hum noise than the old
astrons that I've owned over the years. I currently own an Astron ss25 and
an Iota 45 amp switching supply. I also have several 3 amp samlex switching
supplies that work GREAT, and I've sold all of my iron core boat anchors.
