Hey Megan,
You will do just fine and your indorr antenna seems to be doing the job for 
you.

When I was a novice my antenna system was so bad (a long wire hanging from a 
21st floor condo in Philly) that I used to quip I worked the all blocks 
award instead of the all states award.

I once heard some poor soul on ten meters trying to spell out Czechoslovakia 
and he kep making errors in the spelling on CW.

I never worked him but I was laughing so hard I probably couldn't have sent 
correctly anyway.
