I've been wanting to do something like this for some time.  Have any of 
you done this with success?  I notice hNdi hams is beta testing.  I'd love 
to be able to use my rig back in Kansas to talk to some of my friends back 
there on 75 or 160.  I have a 480 back there but haven't really looked 
into this as I wondered how accessible the control software would be.
