I don't use Outlook Express, so it isn't an option here.

In any case, I am casting my lot in with the group that feels that that 
whole thing was excessive.  Maybe, the time has come for me to Leave the 
list.  My life has gotten a bit busier, and I simply don't feel like 
spending what leisure time I have wading through a lot of off topic 
messages.  Unfortunately, even grouping things by subject doesn't work that 
well on this list because people switch topics without changing the subject 
line.

Anyway, I've said all that I intend to say on the subject.  Rather than 
complaining about it again, I'll just leave the list.
