    Thanks, Steve, and this is very interesting.

Maybe when Spring comes, if I have the time and resources, I'll take my 
Windom down and see what happens if I alter the length slightly.  I'm 
convinced that mine is still a bit too short on at least one of the ends, 
especially since it resonates so high up on the 75-meter band.
