Sure!  JAWS will read PDF files, providing that you have a PDF reader 
like Adobe reader.  There are some others, but Adobe is the gold 
standard, and later versions work well with screen readers  Go to

www.adobe.com

make sure that you get Adobe Reader, which is the free program.
