Howard, they probably didn't have it then, and even if they did, the 
borrowed radios were hit and miss as they are donated by hams who don't use 
them any more.

But they are offering something interesting this year at their August radio 
camp.  Anyone who passes the Technician test will receive a free HT, but I 
don't know what kind it is.  73.
