    Well, Dave, we must always do what we can to preserve domestic 
tranquility.  Fortunately for me, I have a very tolerant XYL, who is willing 
to put up with some contesting every so often. ... If we were moving, 
though, I'd probably have to forgoe the contest, or at least a major part of 
it too.

In the contest itself, all you exchange is your name and state.

That's it;  very simple.
