With all the available better antennas than stock, that wouldn't even make 
sense. I know the ones on mine look hard wired,b ut upon closer inspection 
it's just a well covered TNC jack. that would be a big mistake if they're 
hard wiring them now but I haven't seen one newer than about a year old I 
don't think so I'm not saying it's impossible.
