I am trying to compute the power rating of a 19'' compaq LCD monitor.
The specifications are 100-240 V, 1.1A. Assuming the mains is 220V
this gives 220 x 1.1 = 240W. A search through the internet indicates
that typical ratings for LCD monitors are in the order of 50W. Any
help?
