Dear Listmates,
Bob's Red Mill GF Oat Flour may have been available forever; however, I
recently discovered it at Whole Foods Market. I've used commercial GF flour
in the past, and it was coarsely ground. Bob's on the other-hand is finely
ground. The bread I made from it - honey oat bread - is really good. It is
smooth and delicious like a commercial bread; however, it contains 55% whole
grains and dietary fiber from oats and sorghum. The bread is very flexible,
not crumbly and slices easily. I've posted the recipe on our website:
http://bit.ly/GF_Bake (equivalent to
http://home.comcast.net/~vhdolcourt/gfbaking/<http://home.comcast.net/%7Evhdolcourt/gfbaking/>).
Look for it under yeast breads. The recipe is marked with a red
chevron
(>).
Please let me know if you have any questions.
