I just saw an ad in one of my magazines for Baked Latke Crisps (a potato product), described in detail on www.thoushallsnack.com. I don't know how long they've been around, but they weren't on my radar until tonight, and according to the website, I can get them in my local supermarket, even Whole Foods...no artificial colorings, preservatives, or flavorings.

Even though the company won't guarantee gf, I think we've come a long way when many products already have the following question in their FAQ's, without our having to contact the company individually. Here is what is on their website.

Are your products gluten free?
While Latke Crisps do not contain wheat or gluten, they're manufactured in a facility that processes wheat and gluten products. Because there is a small risk of cross-contamination we do not actually label Latke Crisps as wheat or gluten free. Babka Bites do contain wheat and gluten. Our ingredient labels should tell you all you need to know!
