Further confirmation of that:

On a download site, I've just seen a paid Google ad entitled:
"Learn the shocking truth about registry cleaners".

The ad links to the so-called "review" I mentioned earlier that I was very 
dubious about. Genuine review pages don't use paid Google ads in this way.

No doubt about it now---Regcure uses some very dubious marketing 
techniques, and for that reason is definitely one to be avoided.
