Hi:

Last week I posted a question about batter memory. Rather than repeat it
entirely, here's the question.

I have a Victor Reader Stream with a recharging cord and, I presume, AC
supply. They state there are about 400 charges before discharge durations
begin to decline. Since the unit seems to want to start charging as soon as
I plug it into an outlet and therefore use 1 of my 400 plus or minus
charges, is it better just to always us it from battery?

Article in QST several years back said that a charge is a charge whether
full or 1 hour and it reduces the total number of charges available.

What do you folks think?
