Thanks for the advice Steve.  I hesitated on getting the rig because I
thought it may be too over whelming to learn.  Then I realized with some
help from all this great knowledge on the list I could do it.  Hopefully,
I'll keep the stupid questions to a minimum.

Good luck with the new rig.  Get the stuff from www.icanworkthisthing.com 
Besides the manual in text format, there is a quick start guide and  key 
layout guide that were put together by a couple of guys from this list. 
They  did a great job, and even after owning my  2000 more than 8 years, I 
still refer to  that key  layout from time to time.

It's a great rig, but has more than 50 buttons, most of which have more than

1 function.  If you're like me, you only have 10 fingers so that's 5 buttons

per finger.   The rig can seem daunting at first, but a number of folks on 
this list either have, or have  had one, so help isn't far away.
