I don't have a direct unusual contact, but when I was in high school I was a 
member of the school's amateur radio club, and one day they contacted the 
late Yuri Gagarin, (pardon the spelling), the Russian cosmonaut who was the 
first to orbit the earth who was later killed in a plane crash.  However, I 
don't know his call.
