Yep, I haven't seen anything cheap as far as a digital tv. We were
talking about buying Libbie's dad a ttv for his kitchen, and they are
expensive. No longer can we buy a color tv for under a hundred. One of
the many down sides to this digital thing the fcc crammed down our
throats. If the American public only knew how many millions and millions
of dollars are being spend to replace and upgrade equipment.

I haven't done much messing with smaller tvs, but I've found, as have
other ham friends, that the converter boxes seem to have much hotter front
ends in them than tv sets do. I've tried the zenith box here in Vegas,
and get good signals off of rabbit ears.

And, then there is the environment. How many thousand or millions of old
sets are going to land fills.
