Hi all,
I'm considering cobeling together an antenna for VHF does anybody know 
what the difference in gain would be between say, a 5/8 groundplain and 
a j pole?
both antennas are easy enough to construct but, if I can help it, I 
don't want too big a footprint.
any insite would be greatly appreciated.
