Flexible discs were fine unless the postman rolled them up when putting them 
in the mailbox!

For several years during the 70s, ARRL staff read the magazine. During that 
time, it would often run 4 months behind.

When I first began receiving QST with the January, 1968 issue, it was on 2 7 
inch reels recorded at 3 and 3/4 IPS speed.

The tapes were from Recorded Periodicles, which I think at that time was 
part of Science for the Blind.

The readers were from the Telephone Pioneers.
