Hello All,

I am in need of a bit of info.

It appears as if my wife has recently gotten herself hired as the Centers for Disease Controll's Global AIDS Surveillance Director for South Africa. As a result, I will be spending considerable time in Southern Africa over the next couple of years.

Anybody got any contacts with folks in the heritage resources field over there? I have been doing some investigation on the web and it looks like UNESCO,ICCROM and the Getty are all pretty heavily invested in sub-saharan Africa. There are also some other organizations like SAHRA that I am not familiar with at all. I am particularly interested in folks who are involved in traditional building crafts training. Let me know if you can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Bungalow Brian
