  In rough order of preference:

1.  Get an updated BIOS for this system that provides LBA.

2.  Get an adapter that adds LBA to the existing BIOS.

3.  Replace the motherboard with a current one -- this may involve
changing CPU, RAM, video card, etc., but might not depending on what
you've got.

4.  Use "free" software from the drive manufacturer to overcome the
limitations of your current system.  Use this *only* if you cannot
get a new BIOS (#1) and cannot afford more hardware (#2, #3).
