Your point is well taken. As to demographics the list leans towards a 
diminishing testosterone level with males past midlife that in many 
regards are either well and somewhat permanently mated or not and in 
turn not so sure they will ever be re-mated or mated for much longer. I 
am not sure what lack of mate, either gender, has to do with historic 
preservation. I am curious at any flare ups of historic libido. To be 
lonely is difficult for any of us. Myself I see not much difference 
between waxing terribly poetic on pasties and DFI... it is a community, 
of sorts that looks to expose and to heal. I can relate with relevance 
the salvage of historic murals at Peepland on Times Square and the guys 
(I have been informed that guys is neutral gender) to bring tokens - 
little pole dancers stamped in cheap metal -- back to the shop. Do we 
want to know about that or do we want to know about skanky hair cutters 
on Bravo or the invisibility of maimed Iraq vets? The construction 
trades have always been vulgar, much more so than anything yet that has 
been exhibited on BP, ever. I think to the Rabelesian perspective of 
below the waist (sort of a New Orleans celebration kinda thing) and the 
impact of that religious dichotomy as a political position. For me I 
cannot but enjoy the relationship of restoration of a National Historic 
Monument (George Rogers Clark, Vincennes, Indiana) with the truck driver 
George whose favorite joke seemed to be about windshield wipers. And, as 
I no longer have rights to [log in to unmask] I must defer to 
the phenom of attrition of the list population. Thank gawd, tho, that we 
heard about Mike Tyson's house and that we got to hear about the need to 
electrically ground dancer's poles as a work hazard. I do not defend 
vulgarity and I do extend my apology to you and to all. If anyone is 
feeling isolated on BP by gender segregation then please speak out.
