Hi Louis,

As I recall, the MC-80 has a short, goose neck type shaft for a condenser
style mic. I tried one here and was not impressed. In my opinion, you
would do better with an MC-60A.

Good luck and very 73.

Subject: Kenwood Microphones

Hi.

I have been contemplating the replacement of a microphone here in the ham
shack for one of my Kenwood HF radios. I ran across a used listing for a
Kenwood MC80 Desk Microphone. I seem to remember that there was one of
their desk microphones that wasn't very good, but I cannot remember which
one. Can anybody shed any light on this model?

Thanks, and 73, de Lou K2LKK
