Gigaparts sells a cable for Icom radios that is way cheaper than the one 
they recommend.

I can't remember the Icom model number vut it's got the number 17 in it.

It's also around $129 versus $30 for the cable that Gigaparts sells.

I think these cables convert the logic levels so that a radio can be hooked 
to a computer.
