Conventional Medical Treatment

 

To diagnose celiac disease, your physician may take a blood
sample and a barium X-ray of your small intestine. The proper way to diagnose
celiac disease is only with blood tests, most specifically TTG, and an
endoscopic biopsy of the small intestine as well as positive response to a
gluten free diet. Stool samples have
been proven to be useless for diagnosis of celiac disease.
