I was listening to NPR yesterday and there was a short positive plug for the
paleolithic diet. A guy was being interviewed whose job was human guinea pig
for scientific and drug trials.

One trial involved 17 days on the paleo diet. He described it very
succinctly and well, fruits, veggies and meat. He said he was pre-diabetic
going in, but after only 17 days his numbers were much improved. His only
complaints were the volume of food he had to carry with him, and the
monotony of the diet.
