Hello,

Yes, they can within limits. I'm not sure if Win 95 or 98 networks with 
Win XP but it makes sense that they would. I used to network a Windows 
3.11 system with a Win 95 system but it's been a long time ago.

You will need a network card in each machine and then you will need to 
set up the networking software. It's been a long time since I've 
networked so maybe someone else on the list can help you with setting it 
up if you need help.
