Hi Listers,
I will be on vacation next week in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

I finally found my Kenwood THF6A after searching through piles of boxes since October.

I have some basic questions about running the rig.

First is it necessary to press pound before entering a frequency? I did this with a repeater on the B band and also with an am frequency on the A band. Seemed to work ok and not lock up the rig.

How do you enter pl tones into this rig? I seem to have lost my reference card and notes.

I recall that the pl chart starts at 67 but that's all I remember.

Also if I enter a repeater on the 440 band will the rig take care of the up split?

I'll try to find my cheat sheet at work but the next two days will be extremely busy rapping things up before I go.

As with most of these modern things if you don't run them for a while you just forget the sequence of operations.

Any help would be appreciated.

73's,

Eric
