I just wanted to share a great experience we had while traveling to Scottsdale Arizona recently.

We stayed at the Fairmont Scottsdale. We called ahead and told them about how two of us would need gluten free food during our stay. My daughter who is 3 and I both have celiac. I wasn't worried as much about me but I was hopeful they could have some food on hand that my daughter would like and eat.

They were wonderful, the called me about a week before we arrived to ask about specific things my daughter liked and went to the local whole foods and bought a number of items to have on hand. The servers all understood our issues and were very aware of any cross contamination issues. We stayed there for 5 days and at most meals at the hotel and never got sick and had some wonderful food.

I had some anxiety about being in a hotel where someone else would be in charge of every meal, but I was so impressed with the hotel I wanted to pass the information along in case anyone every needs a place in Scottsdale.
