Thank you to everyone who took the time to write back about their
experiences with doctors in the Philadelphia area. The resounding
endorsement was for CHOP and their team of celiac specialists (especially
Dr. Ritu Verma). A few people suggested not going the GI route and doing
testing through Enterolab.
I ended up scheduling an appointment through one of CHOP's satalite branches
and we will be seeing one of the GI's who has a special interest in celiac
disease. Since my son doesn't have any lab work to date to support my
guessing, I was encouraged to bring along my own lab work to support my
arguement for testing. Should be an interesting appointment.
