Hi,
I just started subscribing to this list after by chance I saw a
reference to it on VEGAL-L.
I have been suffereing from some food allergy but am just not sure
what it is. The reaction I get is stomach making excessive noises
after eating and a few hours later, bloating and bad taste in the
mouth. After suffering for about 4-5 months, yesterday I ate a my
first meal without any grain at all (ie. fish, rice, carrots). For the
first time, I did not have any reaction - I had the best night of
sleep in the mentioned period.
I get the said reaction also to rye and I think fruit. Is there a FAQ
for wheat/gluten intolerance. Is there a definitive test for this
thing? As demi-vegetarian I have up until this period relied very
heavily of grain for nourishment and now it seems I have got a slap in
my face. Is it really possible that in such a short period one can
develop such an intolerance?
Sorry, alot of disorganised questions, but I'm just so confused.
