Option 1: Tools, Options, Main, Startup, When Firefox starts choose "Show a blank page".
(it'll be blank but not black)
Option 2: Create an directory on your CD drive, e.g.: md localHomePage
Create a file in the folder "localHomePage", e.g.: myBlackHomePage.html
Copy the following into the file and save it.

Assuming Firefox is your default browser, open the above file
c:\localHomePage\myBlackHomePage.html
In Tools, Options, Main, Startup, choose "Use current page".
