If I May weigh in on this a bit: ...
In all honesty, I have actually found this discussion to be interesting
reading.
If you listen to various ham radio nets, you'll find that many topics are
discussed, some of which are only vaguely related to ham radio.
I think the exchange of ideas that has gone on here has shown us that we all
have common concerns, and various ways of addressing them.
Yes, some of it is personal preference, but it has been interesting reading
all of the various thoughts that have been presented.
As you guys know, I'm a college professor, and don't have all kinds of time
to read unnecessary e-mails, and I'm sure I've missed some from this thread
already.
But the discussion has been fun reading, and certainly hasn't hurt anyone,
so far as I can tell.
