Bob,

John is right,  several folks on this list have things set so that  replies 
to their messages go direct to them and not to the list.   Check your sent 
messages folder for the 2 messages that never made it to the list  and see 
where they were sent to.   If in fact they were addressed to the list, then 
they got sucked up into that black hole from which e-mails never  return. 
However it wouldn't surprise me  if they went direct  to the other person.

It's happened to me several times over the years and I  always try and 
remember to  see where my message is going before I hit the send button.
