Well, duh, yes Jaws does need the video intercept.  Try reinstalling it and 
see how well it works.

The only thing I changed was uninstalling the freedom scientiffic video
intersept.  I wonder if that caused the problem.  I tried the f5 but not the
insert-backslash.  Thanks for the input guys.  Does sound like a hopeful
product.
