John:
Your suggestions were actually helpful, and before the XYL left this
morning, I went out to the car and put memory zero back in. It's really
easy to do--just hit the function key, and then memory, and you can go
wherever you want to go.
I'm going to change the tmv71A software and put memory 0 in the other radio
with it, but I just didn't want to go through all the hassle of pulling the
rig out of the car and everything for one memory.
So, the orienting beep is now back.
Again, for those with TMV71A's, I hope my little dilemma has helped you.
Just remember: If you want that orienting beep at the beginning of your
memory list, you have to program something into memory zero.
