  I would appreciate any suggestions on a decent reasonable priced receiver. 
Do any of you use the ICOM R-7000 and if so what do you think of it.  I am 
interested in a receiver that can have a voice synthesizer installed.  I am 
mainly interested in monitoring the ham bands..
