John

I DID see you in Montreal - in passing - you were deep in conversation
with somebody, and I was rushing to a meeting ... and then I never saw
you again. I too wanted to introduce myself personally.

Email me backchannel [log in to unmask]
And I'll update you on C18's progress on a petrographic standard.
I actually flew out of Montreal to Las Vegas for the C18 committee
meeting.

Cheers

Hey David, sorry we DIDN'T see each other in Montreal (did not realize
you
were there). I would have like to have touched base again on getting
ASTM
to put together a standard for petrography of building stone. I was
there
to present a talk on chemical techniques for mortar analysis and
probably
spent more time driving to and from than I actually spent at the
conference.

Hey, David... sorry we saw each other and missed each other in Montreal.
I was escorting a heavy-duty Polish contingent and was intensive w/
them.
I wanted to ask you how it went in Beijing w/ the Mandarin.
