Brad,
I'd tend to agree with you here (though haven't really thought much about
the subject before); but I'm wondering if we can be held responsible for,
say, a bad witness (basically sin in a life) which results in someone at
least saying "Well, if that's a Christian I don't want to know!" Now, of
course, we could argue that the person saying this is just making excuses
... or perhaps that the person with the (seemingly) bad witness hasn't truly
been born again. However, in writing this, I do have someone in mind who
actually said of her sister that, if her witness was anything to go by, she
didn't want to be a Christian.
Now this is getting kind of interesting ...
