experts?
good article, though, least ways he did not advocate replacement windows
My mother months back told me I shld look into the painting NYC roofs
white business... I have been in the 'side' business of painting them
aluminum for years... but there is not very much incentive to get
involved in organizing what any local handyperson w/ a paint roller can do.
I think though a very good response to this dilemma would be for folks
that have some idea about residential weatherization to offer local
workshops and to do so WITHOUT offering to then provide a free estimate
to do the work.
And to include talks about how to avoid weatherization shysters.
Sort of like a 10-minute walk around w/ John Leeke at the Ketchum Inn in
Moriches a few weeks ago that dumped all sorts of money saving,
weatherization, and inexpensive conservation information on Bert, the
local hero.
And then we went to visit the abandoned tidal mill.
