Hi Shaun.

You need about 270 feet total.  Depending upon whether you want a 3 sided 
loop (like a Delta Loop) or a four sided loop, you can divide 270 by either 
3 or 4 and that will tell you how long each side needs to be.  Also, We 
tilted the loop and strung it off a fairly tall mast, which of course 
reduced the horizontal space required.

The nice thing about loops is that they are nearly always quieter antennas 
than dipoles, verticals, or random wires.  The only downside is that they 
are big.
