Tom,

You have the correct call.  I've got that equalizer, and even though it 
helps, it can only do so much.  You can boost audio if it's there, but you 
can't add audio that isn't.  I still wish someone would come up with a way 
to install a 3 KhHz TX filter in the 480.  That would help more than an 
equalizer.
