I presume you are talking about Jaws (Job Access With Speech) for
severely visually impaired users. The latest version, number 10, and
its two earlier master releases (7 & 8 ) install their own audio drivers
unless overridden by the installer. Have you checked with the publisher,
Freedom Scientific? I suspect that Toshiba did not know about Jaws and
its requirements. Good luck.
