Unless she is post-menopausal, her own body is producing huge amounts of estrogen with each menstrual cycle. Her diet won't make any difference. The only way to decrease one's own estrogen is to take hormones which stop the menstrual cycle (for example Depo Provera, but even then the body continues to produce small amounts of estrogen), have the ovaries removed, or wait for menopause.

Whenever I hear about tumors, I wonder if there is a connection to insulin levels, as insulin *is* a growth hormone. If there is a connection, the grains could make the fibroids worse.
